The Scan Tune Spectrum Analyzer
The most common spectrum analyzer is the scan tune spectrum analyzer. The modulated local oscillator generate the oscillation frequency with linear variation along time with the scan generator. The important parts which influence the signal reaction is the bandwidth of the filter. The feature of the filter is gaussian filter, function it influence is the analysis bandwidth during the measuration.
